HELLS BELLS.
Posted by StingRay@ 6:27 PM EDT

I had a brief run in *disconnected* with @Home modem technology yesterday/today, *disconnected* but managed to get it fixed. *disconnected* Seemingly, if you have an old @Home *disconnected* cable modem you can just walk right into your *disconnected* local station and ask for a brand new one. You'll *disconnected* get a different ip but your hostmask *disconnected* will stay the same. *disconnected* Strangely enough, it kept disconnecting *disconnected* me. So I got the run around from *disconnected* tech *disconnected* support and eventually *disconnected* one of the guys *disconnected* fixed it by *disconnected* changing *disconnected* *disconnected* *disconnected* *disconnected* *disconnected* my ip address. I'm just glad everything is back to normal...

OGL vs Mhz.
Posted by Time2Die@ 11:47 PM EDT

After some "Player Roundup" taking about an hour we started on our pick of q3wctf1 for game1 which we won 4-2. Mhz pick was q3wctf3 which was a close game till the second half of the game when Mhz picked up 2 caps to win the game. The tie breaker was q3wcp6 which coupled with some good D and some shotgun O, we brought home the win 3-1. Here are the screenshots: Game1 - Game2 - Game3

Counter.
Posted by Time2Die@ 4:17 PM EDT

I have compiled stats for the last 2 months (beginning from the time that I re-did the webserver...but forgot to save the log files, DOH!). I don't think that the hits are 100% right but they're pretty close. This counter is session based and not page hit based so as you navigate around that page it won't count each of those views as a hit. 5037 or so hits I believe.

Also...STA didn't happen with PM...again! It seems they don't do ladders anymore. l33t.

WHO WHAT?!?
Posted by jargirl@ 11:59 PM EDT

Well tonight we were scheduled to have a match for STA against PM. Apparently no one told PM that. So, the match will be played at an undisclosed later date.

Last night's match against RM started out with a HACKED server. About 18 minutes into the first map the server suddenly died. So....that map had to be played over. In the end RM won 2-1. Although we did have quite a nice win on W1.
Next time we WILL be better prepared.

Back.
Posted by Time2Die@ 7:09 AM EDT

Haven't had a chance to really post anything yet but wanted to say that Smeg and I had a great wedding and honeymoon and really appreciate everyone's kind words and comments. Right now I have to get ready for work but will try and post a more detailed wrap up of things later this week.

Tonight is our OGL rematch with RM. After a long string of KI wins the last meeting RM took us by surprise and ended up winning 2-0 games. Tonight we'll find out whether it was a fluke or not. Good luck to both teams! ;>

HACKED
Posted by StingRay@ 11:16 PM EDT

Hello. I have for you some more news on the video game front. We defeated our opponent [d]egenerates for the Stronger Than All Quake Three Arena: Capture the Flag video game. Scores were 8-0 on q3wctf1 and 2-1 on q3ctf2. Again, screenshots should magically appear sometime in the future as well as a demo if you like watching other people play (kinky). Servers were difficult to be found. We eventually found them and we used them to play the video game. Our record in this league is now 4-0 and we are happy for that, yes siree bob.

On Tuesday the 24th of July, 2001 at 9:00PM Eastern Time we are going to play the team Recreational Malice in the Quake Three Arena: Capture the Flag for the Online Gaming League (OGL). Basically we want revenge from our last match so we will be playing the video games very hardcore upon them.

In other news Nate got a new job and that is very kick ass news. He is going to be programming in the C++, the Visual Basic (VB for all of you gurus), and etc. So congratulations to Nate the Doggy!

Hello.

Hello from the Cruise ship...smeg and I are enjoying our honeymoon greatly. Don't ask how I'm online but know that the first 5minutes are free :>

Minky Boodle
Posted by StingRay@ 12:36 AM EDT

Tight. We won our game against the Knights Who Say Ni! 5-0 on w1 and 6-1 on w3. Screenshots and demos should be floating around somewhere and will magically appear sometime in the future. Anyhoo, it was fun as some junk. The first server we played on was really worthless because the administrator was downloading pornography while we were attempting to play some Quake Three Arena: Capture the Flag. The admin shall remain nameless because we do not know his name.

***Update: We do know the admins name and his name is suicidal.

We have a match tomorrow night against the Degenerates for the league which is named Stronger Than All. The video game Quake Three Arena: Capture the Flag should start sometime around 10:30 Eastern Standard Time. It should be fun since we both enjoy the video game very much.

Golem decided he would part with us from playing the Quake Three Arena: Capture the Flag because he didn't enjoy the video game. Good luck to him in future encounters in Quebec, Canada playing the video games.

Brand Spanking News
Posted by StingRay@ 12:05 PM EDT

No real actual gaming news but who cares about that stuff anyways...

Eric and Courtney (Time2Die and Smeg) are getting married this weekend!$@!@#% A big congratulatios goes out to them from all of the KI family. I guess we'll see you guys after you get back from in/out on the honeymoon cruise (I wish I could come, no seriously...).

Some other spectacular news, Time2Die accepted a job offer as a Systems Engineer! Congratulations x2! The only downside is that he won't be able to idle on irc from work (DAMMIT! :>) since he'll be mobile quite often.

I can't think of anything else that's relevant, have a good day.
