OSP.
Posted by Time2Die@ 8:56 PM EDT

Well I guess the OSP guys got tired of waiting for the PR to come out and have released .99u1. I would suggest downloading the client and sticking it in ur osp dir as the download from a server is now like 1.5meg...which to download off the server is a bitch...

CAL - Week 6
Posted by Time2Die@ 3:43 PM EDT

The first game was [d]'s pick of q3wctf3. After we had some close calls capping on [d] and some bad luck we tied [d] 1-1 after a 10 minute stand off. On our pick of q3wctf1 we finished 1-0. On our last match we tried some new tactics that failed miserly and never recovered...losing 13-0 on CrewCTF (ouch!).

Game1 - Game2 - Game3

BTW...This was the last week to make changes to rosters.

Sad News.
Posted by Time2Die@ 3:32 PM EDT

Well I'm sure that most people know that solo has left KI (about as fast as he joined). Nothing really more to add. Some things work out and some things don't...

CAL- Week 5
Posted by solo@ 4:00 AM EDT

Tonight we played -aR- for week 5 of the CAL Tourney. The first game was W1 with us coming out ahead 5-0. Game 2 was japan , as we got a 8-2 decision. The 3rd game, which was the custom map Hal9000 was a very close game, with -aR- playing heavy Defense. Sploid battled his way out of the enemy base to give us 1-0 lead, which we held to the timelimit. I just want to say -aR- has great sportsmanship and we wish them good luck through the rest of CAL Tourney.

OGL - Pm still learning Voice com
Posted by solo@ 3:36 AM EDT

I wasn't sure whom we played tonight, in the server hunt chan we had PM-STX-KI. It turned out we played Pm. After about an hour of Pm's communication problems, which is no surprise after listening to lynx on ITG, we finally got the match started. Bugzer apologized repeatitly(sp) for the delay to pm's credit. The first game was our choice, w1 - we lost 2-1 in overtime. Second map was Pm's choice, japan, which I’m sure they picked in preparation for PL. We didn't give them much of a game, as this map is one of our weaker maps. I'm pretty sure we'll see Japan again soon. Lets hope we get our shiznit straight. oh yea, we lost like 12-0! Our next match coming up is –aR- for the cal tourney...stay tuned!

Virgin Waters
Posted by solo@ 4:27 PM EDT

    Hola,

This is my first news post on killerinc.com...unless I screwed something up a few mins ago. I want to thank the KI clan for letting me in the clan. So far everything is going smooth. T2D has given me permission to post news on here, but I’ll be posting more than that. News postings get old..so expect some juicy stuff from me. Lets get a couple things clear right off the bat. I can't type or spell well and I really don't care if you’re a nerd. There..that was mainly for StingRay, but may also apply to some other people. My first order of business must revolve around the CAL tourney. Looks like a couple clans have dropped out...including our week 3 opponent Ho Ass. I'm not sure why they dropped, but they were a solid clan. As for last weeks opponent "PL" which is still in the tourney. We lost 2 games to them and won 1. Although PL's attitude has never wavered since they were formed "sigh" we had some good games, except for our 999 troubles. Which we had 2 people lanned and a 3rd on the same cable node. It may have cost us game 3, since we were down and had to change our strat after they got a 999 cap to take a 2-0 lead around the 9-10 min mark. I think PL was better prepared for game 3's map, but you never know =/ Hopefully in the future we will have a more attentive admin\ref doing our games. I'm not knocking the refs..but simply being connected to the server while the match is being played is not enough.

Fun with DSL.
Posted by Time2Die@ 11:04 AM EDT

The provider that we use to host our webpage has been going through some changes due to NorthPoint going out of business. The IP of the web server was one of the changes we had to deal with. The second change was that after the IP switch we were by default being routed out of Atlanta instead of Raleigh...which was no good. SO! The connection is down right as they move us back to Raleigh...we're running on rr.com power BABY! Everything should be back within 24 hours.

Lifes little trails.
Posted by Time2Die@ 6:15 PM EDT

I was recently in a MINOR car accident...my first to have the police called (smeg wasn't in the car). No one was seriously hurt and I thought life would go on...well today I received no less than 6 letters from different local lawyers advertising their services. One even included a copy of the accident! The accident happened Sunday...I'm surprised I didn't see them running behind us during the ride back.

HA CAL Match.
Posted by Time2Die@ 9:45 AM EDT

Played HA last night for CAL. Used Retirement Home for the match as it seemed to ping well for both parties. The first game was on our map q3wctf1. A tight match that ended in a 1-0 KI score. We then played HA's pick of q3ctf2. After a quick early cap by HA we locked down the base and won the game 3-1. For the third game we played crewctf, a map a lot of us weren't very familar with...and it showed hehe. Kudos to solo for capping in the very last second to tie the game 3-3. Here are the screenshots: Game1 - Game2 - Game3

Note: You will notice that there were only 3 HA's in Game2's SS. That is because one of the HA's dropped in the last 5 seconds of the game...how wude!
