H3 in three..... Posted by

KI is playoff bound.
Map 1, q3cp9 (Spider Crossings) I know I sound like a broken record, but cp9 is all about KI control. We're going on quite a few hours of playtime on that map and it show's. We had solid PU control of both mid and our own. With constant PU pressure on H3 we managed to take over control of their's around the 14 minute mark. Overall, H3 played extremely conservative. I'm not sure if they knew we were putting some time in on that map, or it was just to feel us out, but running 3 D for the majority of the game made the pace of this game slow, in reguards to capping. The action, though, never ceased. They fought hard and the score shows it. The score was 2-1 with them throwing everything at us in the last 3 mins...our insurance cap came with about 1.5 mins left...
3-1 KI
Map 2, q3cp1 (Japanese Castles)
For cp1, we made some pretty significant lineup adjustments. Resp and DC on O, plix mid, and n8 anchoring. There's no question this caught them off guard, as we cap'd twice in the first 2 mins of the game. H3 kept their cool though, and started to really push for PU control. They kept the pressure on, and more then once had us on the ropes, but KI prevailed to take game two. Close....
4-3 KI
Map 3, q3cp6 (mexx)
There's not alot to say on this map. I'm not sure if H3 just never really plays on it, or they had the defeatest attitude and just wanted to play around. We locked down all three PU's around the 7-8 minute mark and just went to town.
9-0 KI

Damnit...I lost my HD last week and am still re-building. Slowly getting shit back and rejoining IRC channels I usually idle in. We've had some matches and some CTFX2 stuff going on. Mostly wins which is good :D
